Shoshana Halpern, DPT
After earning her undergraduate degree in psychology from Yeshiva University Shoshana Halpern, DPT graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College School of Health Sciences. Her final internship was at a PT clinic that specialized in pelvic health and orthopedics. Fascinated by this area of PT, she sought out mentorship and coursework related to pelvic health. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics in New York City, working with various populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, post operative and non-surgical diagnoses as well as postpartum and pregnant patients. She took the Herman and Wallace 1, 2A and 2B Pelvic Floor Courses, which reinforced her passion for pelvic health. She believes in treating patients with a combination of manual techniques, movement analysis, therapeutic exercises, and education to empower patients to improve their quality of life. This framework is especially relevant when treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction as their conditions are most effectively addressed from a holistic point of view.
When she is not working Shoshana loves to travel, exercise, go to Broadway shows and spend time with friends and family.
